The perfect sentiment for this fabulous course hidden in the
buttes of Golden, Colorado. Golf Digest voted it one of America's
Best Courses in 2003 and gave it 4 ½ Stars for Places
to Play 2006-2007.
Please join us as we celebrate
the 5th Annual Pam Saunders Charity Golf Tournament, one of the
most fun and anticipated charity events of the summer. This 18
- hole scramble includes golfer gifts, breakfast burritos, BBQ
lunch, auction and prizes in a tournament played on one of Colorado's
most distinctive courses.
We encourage registration as a
foursome, but individuals may sign up for placement. Once again
Junior players 16 years and younger are invited to compete with
the Men, Women and Junior Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive,
and Longest Putt contests. We look forward to seeing old friends;
some of whom have been with us all five years. And we always
look forward to making new friends; those who have recently taken
our cause to heart, to fund pancreatic cancer research.
And back by popular demand is our
tournament within the tournament, "The Media Cup Challenge".
Media personalities from television stations, radio stations,
newspapers and other media outlets compete for golf bragging
rights and a beautiful traveling trophy.
For two years in a row this trophy has only traveled to the home
of Team KHOW led by radio personalities Dan Caplis and Craig
Silverman. The challenge is on to declare a new Media Cup champ.
To qualify as a media team, at least two people in your foursome
must work for the same media outlet. Anyone know Tiger Woods
to fill out your foursome?
All proceeds raised benefit the
Lorenzen Cancer Foundation, a 501©(3) non-profit.
