The First Annual Pam Saunders Charity Golf
Tournament was a huge success in its inaugural year. The beautiful
and historic Lakewood Country Club played host to the event as
golfers teed off on a beautiful Colorado morning. Friends, family
and members of the Denver Media community showed up to show their
support for Pam and the fight against pancreatic cancer. After
the scores were tallied, everyone enjoyed a lunch and program
hosted by Denver Broncos Ring of Fame legend Karl Mecklenburg
and KMGH Channel 7's Katie Trexler. Prizes, stories and fundraising
were all part of the day. The tournament helped begin a tradition
to make sure the community was aware and involved in the support
and goals of the Lorenzen Cancer Foundation and its fight against
pancreatic cancer. Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers,
and participants!
